East Toronto is a vibrant and diverse community that will benefit greatly from the introduction of a local television station featuring local events and issues. As the political representative dealing with issues that impact on the everyday lives of the people of East Toronto, I believe a community based television station will allow us to engage and inform more of our rate payers about local government policy and issues. I also believe a television station in East Toronto will enhance our sense of community by showing us what is happening in our many different neighbourhoods, schools, entertainment and recreational facilities and businesses.
