As a result we at Renegade Motion Picture Corporation fully intend to get involved with their station on a production basis and obviously we are lending our support to their goals. We intend to produce a Televison Now magazine program and a special interest weekly program "The ExtraSensory Files" for them. We feel that free-air television is in closer contact with the grassroots of our community and more responsive to the true needs of both the public and the sponsors. Much of traditional TV has lost this contact with community and has become more to do with package deals and back door business than with what the viewing public wants to see. 'Community' to some people is just another word for boring or amateur. However to us in Toronto this is the 'community' that generates the most exciting events in the country. For us at Renegade this is a very important development in Canadian television which we intend to be involved with from the inception. Jan is obviously a man who's been involved with the industry for a long time and apart from having an extremely advanced technical grasp of the television business presents an impression of stolid dedication to the SRTV station concept.
