I am thoroughly disgusted with the mainstream medias' blatant ignorance of newsworthy material. It has gotten to the point that I seldom "tune in" to these news sources, anymore. I prefer to get my information from internet sources who don't appear to share the bias. Mainstream media is becoming a dinasaur, soon to become extinct as more and more Canadians turn to alternative news sources, out of disgust! Example? See: www.ourcourtssuck.com The local media has IGNORED this atrocity for more than 5 years, now, in spite of protest signs. How "in your face" does a law-abiding citizen have to get to wake up these mis-representers of news! Why don't you let others into the competition instead of cow-towing to the mainstream syndications. Canadians deserve the diversity in viewpoints, if nothing else. Do you have the audacity to believe that you, the CRTC, have to think for the rest of Canadians? That we can't think for ourselves. Enough spoon-feeding of corporate tripe! Let other journalists compete. The least it will do is raise the standard, or is that what you're afraid of. Got some skeletons in your own closet?
